About this Course

Policies and procedures are central to smooth and consistent running of your organisation and such documents must be ‘controlled’ to ensure staff have access to the most current and approved versions.

This course will take you through the process of adding, reviewing and updating your controlled documents.

Who should take this course:

This course is designed for all users assigned the role as action or review officer.  This course covers the Documents register and the process around adding and reviewing a document. 

You'll learn how to:

  • Understand the requirements for controlling a document
  • Understand how to set up an automatic footer
  • Understand how to upload a document to the document register
  • Understand the different task options available when reviewing a document
  • Understand how to make a progress note when a review is not completed
  • Understand how to change a review date when a review is not required

Course expectations:

  • Complete 2 sessions
  • Read 6 'How to' articles - 2 of these articles contain a video demonstration
  • Complete 2 online quizzes

Time:

  • 20 minutes per session
  • 40 minutes for the entire course
